Better day today. Aiden only had a few Brady's today.

Weight is 4 lbs 5.2 oz. Small gain but still a gain. Heck, better than some retirement plans.

Tomorrow is Aiden's 4 wk birthday. Amazing! We enjoy every day and every week. BUT, this will be his first MONTH! We are blessed!

Took 37ml's tonight. Wouldn't feed for Mom so the nurse took him, primed him, and handed him back to Mom for a great finish.

Looks a little tired but seems to be doing well.

Mom keeps sayin', "He smells good. He smells good. He smells good." Day nurse gave him a bath. Night nurse says he was pretty rank. Mom's face lit right up. "That's my boy!,Make Momma proud!" she says.

Looks like we might make it a short night. Aiden could use the rest and so could we.

Want to give credit to the nurses who put up with us every night. They are very attentive and accommodating. Very responsive to all the babies. Very kind and sincere.

Now, for the day nurse who didn't respond to Aiden's back-to-back Brady attacks yesterday....well....I hope she has better days and doesn't get assigned to Aiden in the future. I'll have some intimate conversations if she does. As we are told he gets monitored from other rooms/locations, that's fine. But someone should have tended to him at his crib to check for the possible cause of the Brady attacks. Could have had an obstructed airway or fallen or whatever. Poor performance and some excuses going on with day shift. I can monitor my 401 from home but it won't fix it.

Below are some pics Mom wanted to post from about 12 days ago.

Mom's 1st bath, kinda. Her first Aiden bath. He wasn't amused.

So little....

To let you know...if you feel very strongly either way, that you really like a nurse or that you really did not care for one, you can tell your social worker in the NICU and they can make a primary care list and have the nurses you really like put on it so that if they are on shift they try to assign them to you...or if it was one you didn't care for they wont put them back with Aiden. He is your son remember and if something isnt sitting well with you about his care tell the social worker, that is what they are there for. We had to do it with the girls and I felt so much better once I knew they would get the nurses we really liked and trusted and not get the one nurse we had an issue with. Hope this helps! Still praying for Aiden, the miracle baby!!!
