Day 1 pics followed by tonights pics. WOW! Don't know about you but brings tears to dad's eyes. He's come so far.
Aiden weighed 3 lbs 8 oz. A loss of .2 oz but not significant.
Found out the feedings increase 1ml every 6hrs, not 1ml per day. He gets fed every 3hrs. Last feeding at 8pm was 8ml but he only took 2ml before dribbling. The excess gets put into the feeding tube.
His heart monitor went off 2 times tonight but his heart kicked back in on it's own. His nurse was VERY quick to respond. Rate went down to 70-ish, about half the norm for him. Just another reminder of how quickly things can change. Dad didn't hold him much tonight because of the alarms. Don't want to risk stressing him out or being in the way if he needs attention or a quick caffiene bump to keep his heart going.
Aiden looked tired tonight. Attached are a few pics. Can really see the difference from a few weeks ago.
Today was Aiden's 2wk birthday. Grateful for 2 now working towards his week 3 birthday.
Hoping that my college graduation gift is bringing Aiden home on Jan 10th! Finals due that day but I'll gladly take an Aiden over a plain ol' A any time.
