Early Steps visit 4-16 quick update

We had a coordinator from the Early Steps Intervention program come out to the house. A very enlightening experience. Our coordinator (who works solely with hearing and vision impaired children)did an intake interview. According to her questions, Aiden is delayed in communication and gross motor. (Which we already knew - just nice to have a little affirmation).

After Aiden's FIFTH hearing test on the 30th, he will go to the Early Steps clinic for a full evaluation. The interventions he will need will be decided after that.

One really positive thing that we found out about Early Steps is that they will help pay for hearing aids should he need them. That is fantastic, because our insurance doesn't. In fact most insurance companies don't. We were also given information on support group and workshop that we will be able to participate in as well.

It is good to give thanks to the Lord,to sing praises to your name, O Most High;
