Aiden weighs in at 3 lbs 14 oz.
He's had more heart rate drops today.
His temp is still sustained but has been lower the past day or so. If it dips below 97.6 he will be put back in the isolette to help maintain temp.
The great news...The MRI was done last night. Mom talked with the doc this afternoon and the result was clear. No signs of any cyst on the cerebellum or any place else included in the scan. Doc said it was absolutely clear. This means what was seen on the ultrasound on day 7 has absorbed or otherwise gone away. This is very improtant as the risk associated with the cyst could be very significant in Aiden's life. Mom and Dad are excited!!!!
The chromosome issue remains and it could be several months before probable delays and risks are determined with any confidence. Until then, we're understanding that anything associated with chromosome 6 is a possibility. We hope Aiden continues to astound everyone and beat the odds. It would be a true miracle for him to never experience a significant event or delay. He's come so far...
We continue to selfishly ask for your thoughts and prayers. Many of you have added Aiden and our family to your prayer list at home and at church. THANK YOU!!!!!
We are very fortunate and ask for a special prayer for our friend Morgan. She's 2 yrs old and is also experiencing a life challenge. She was a premie that spent 5 months in the NICU. She started out at less than 2 lbs. Her family could use some comfort right now. Pray for them.
