Aiden's lost a few oz's, down to 12 lbs from 12.3 yesterday. His appetite has picked back up and working back to his norm of 6-8 oz's.
Doctor didn't like his wheezing this morning so he ordered a 2nd breathing treatment. Said he'd like to send him home today.
Audiologist did the ABR hearing test this morning. Terrific lady. Results were what we expected - Severe/Profound deafness in both ears. Should be bringing me a copy of her written report before we get discharged this afternoon. At least that's the plan.
All the docs, nurses, etc just love him. Can't believe how happy he is and how much he smiles - especially for a baby that shouldn't be feeling well.
My brother called and got to hear the wonderful sounds the monitors make. The same sounds that have kept me up for most of the last 48 hrs. To say I'm tired...well...Stacey will need ear plugs tonight.
