Cardiologist appt. went as expected. Some improvement in the functionality of his tricuspid valve.
Overall, heart is improved from original heart exam performed in NICU around day 2 or 3. Any improvement is good so we're satisfied with today's results.
Next visit with cardiologist is in about 8 wks unless we have concerns.
Cardiologist gave approval for hernia surgery. Have to figure out who makes the arrangements, us or the pediatrician's office. Have research to do.
Doc did the circumcission today - called Dad a "sh-thead" for not going today. Guess he thought it was rude to have Mom deal with it alone. Thought of it makes me cringe. Don't want Aiden mad at me for that. Mom handled it well. Good job, Mom!
Still having random bradycardia's and apnea's. Mostly associated with feeds.
His feeds improved today. Volume steady around 2 oz but frequency increased to about every two hrs. Had 1 or 2 bottles @ 3 oz today.
Weighed an even 6lbs fully dressed w/ a dry diaper and all monitor leads. So naked weight probably around 5lb 10 oz's? Just a guesstimate.
Mom's enjoying the new camera. Canon SD780 - great resolution on the display. Canon makes her smile. Pick one up and you can smile, too!

WOW! He looks great and you better get that agent lined up soon - what a beautiful boy! He is going to be a fighter and has an outstanding family to be very proud of.
