Aiden's mom got to change a diaper last night. Tending nurse helped with tubes and wires.

Aiden was weighed again at 4 a.m. this morning. 4 lbs now. That's 1.5 lbs of excess fluid removed from his body. Amazing!

Aiden looks good but frail. Skin and bones. Very sad.

The doc that did the ultrasound before delivery came back after seeing Aiden this morning. Said his lymph nodes are still producing the excess fluid they are trying to remove. Will have to keep the chest tubes in. Didn't offer any outlook or strategy. Just staying the course.

Mom should be discharged by 6pm tonight. Mixed feelings...glad to go home but wanting to be close to Aiden.

Brandon and Mikayla are doing well. Seem to be holding up okay and trying to distract themselves a little bit. They know Aiden's condition but aren't comfortable talking about it. Please keep discussion light and encouraging with them if you talk to them about Aiden.

Nicole is making some prayer tshirts for us. Should have Jesus' hands in prayer position, between hands will read "Pray for Baby Aiden". Every prayer counts.

Aiden Morgan Jones is now 74hrs 40 minutes old. Longest 3 days of our lives. Most challenging of his.
